Family Reunion – Day 3

We stoped at St. George for some deserved rest and site seeing. From there we went strait to Salt Lake City, Utah. After lunch at Chuck-a-Rama we headed north. We dropped Dan off with some of his friends in Provo and made our way to Mom and Dad’s place in Ogden. But before heading north, here is what we visit.

In St. George, we had tickets to the “Blueprints of Liberty” museum that Glenn Beck had setup in the Washington County Admin Bldg. It was cool to see all the American history.

We also stopped by the Winter Home of President Brigham Young.

Family Reunion – Day 2

We woke up fairly early and hit the road to make it to St. George by the end of the day. We made a few stops along the way and picked up a few New Mexico souvenirs.

We made a stop at Marble Canyon to see the Navajo Bridge.

The bridge is 600+ feet above the river.

It was a cool view and there were condors (or big raptors, I’m no expert mind you) flying from the bridge to the river below. They have a beautiful wing span. Too bad I couldn’t catch them with them opened.

Family Reunion – Day 1

We decided to attend a family reunion in Utah that we haven’t attend in many years. We left Tuesday night and headed for Roswell, NM. It’s a bit of a trek from Austin and we had a late start since Rob needed to leave after work.

Nothing but the open space.
